There have been a few changes to the list of items that can actually be recycled, with some lines coming in and some now being unable to be recycled.
The new list can be found by clicking here.
Here is a summary of the changes.
Brother: We are now unable to recycle Brother inkjets but we are able to carry on recycling the Brother Toner Cartridges.
Canon: Items such as the CL-41N cannot be recycled, but of course the normal CL-41 can be!
Epson: There have been some big changes with Epson inkjets and the following cannot be recycled now:
Regretfully, there have also been some changes in the pricing that we can obtain to help the charities. However, good news is that there have also been some increase!
Many of the Canon products have dropped by around 20% in recycling value.
From the list of Epson of inkjets that remain on the list, there has been a big reduction with some items now only achieving a £0.05p value in recycling.
There has also been some changes with Brother Toners with the DR3200 dropping in value by 50% but the DR3300 and TN3230 have increased by 40% and 15% respectively.
All in all, there is still a massive benefit to the charities that we deal with and help to support. There is also a big benefit to the environment with every item that we help to get recycled no longer gets sent to a landfill site.
