Canon ink recycling getting more popular

posted in: News | 0

The recycling of Canon empty printer ink cartridges seems to becoming more popular.

This week, we have seen a massive rise of members of the public choosing to recycle their empty Canon cartridges to help raise money for our charity partners.

Items such as the CL-13, the CL-541, the CL-511, PG-512 and the PG-540 have been hitting our recycling factory in Boston, Lincolnshire.  The growth seems to have started around the same time we introduced our free bulk collection service.

The Canon items listed above have helped many of our charity partners gain vital income with some of the items raising over £2.50 for each item recycled!

We hope this growth and kindness continues and would like to remind our supporters that recycling can be done in various ways.

1. A quick recycle request where a free of charge postage label can be attached to an envelope and posted away. Click here for that option.  You can also request for a free collection bin to store your items up ready for recycling.

2. You can also request a free bulk collection by clicking here.

It’s a shame that not all Canon printer cartridges can be recycled so we have list available here.

Thanks for supporting the Charity Inks website and also our charity partners, we hope the Canon growth continues along with our other items which can be recycled.
